Cockwells Showcase Superlative Superyacht Tenders at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show

Cockwells Modern & Classic Boatbuilding from Cornwall in the UK will exhibit two of its exquisite custom builds at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show: the ultra-luxurious Titian Tender, which has just been awarded first prize in the Post-1980 category of the Concours d’Elégance at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the 9.5m Limousine that was crowned winner of the Tender & Support Vessel Design category at the 2017 ShowBoats Design Awards.

The Titian Tender is not just another beautiful bespoke boat from Cockwells but a modern masterpiece of artisan craftsmanship and technical ingenuity; the sublime synthesis of speed and style.

Combining durable composites with the resilience of yellow cedar and the sleekness of teak to create the ultimate in luxury for ten guests, the Titian Tender is based on a concept by Redman Whiteley Dixon.

With an interior designed by Cullum Bespoke, who bring expertise in luxe car design to the mix, this spectacular craft – with its copper-infused caulking, intricate carpentry and silk panels adorned with original fine art – has been created by Cockwells’ in-house design team with the Mediterranean in mind.
Take only a moment of cruising at 30 knots to locate your favourite anchorage and enjoy a blissful afternoon in sumptuous style. Deploy the self-launching anchor and the automated Bimini to create your very own shaded island. With easy access to the bathing platform, immerse yourself in the azure blue waters and head for the hot water deck shower as soon as you are back on board. Relax in the spacious sunbathing area with an ice-cold drink from the fridge or join friends and family in the cockpit for a delicious lunch prepared in the galley. The Titian Tender exudes comfort and convenience at every turn.

“From the stainless steel fittings that have been specifically cast and the hugely manoeuvrable twin-jet drive to the contemporary chic of the Corian and copper galley, the Titian Tender makes a statement,” explains Founder and Managing Director, Dave Cockwell. “Cockwells is gaining global renown for elevating the traditional skills of the artisan boatbuilder to meet the needs of the most discerning clients and we pride ourselves on resolving complex design challenges to meet their precise requirements.”
Cockwells’ 9.5m Limousine was built as a tender to an 88m superyacht and demonstrates the company’s seemingly limitless flexibility when it comes to delivering exclusive custom-builds without compromise on quality or seakeeping. With a spacious saloon for up to 12 guests, her rich tweed and warm wood interior creates an environment that radiates luxury and serenity even at her top speed of more than 30 knots.

Powered by a single Yanmar engine, she is also equipped with a Fusion marine stereo, heating, air conditioning and a state-of-the-art EmpirBus system with custom touch screen, enabling all on-board electrical systems to be pre-set and easily controlled.

“We were delighted that our 9.5m Limousine won the highly contested Tender & Support Vessel Design category of the 2017 ShowBoats Design Awards against strong competition from Compass and Aston Martin,” adds Dave Cockwell. “This was testament to our winning partnership with renowned naval architect, Andrew Wolstenholme and to the skill and ingenuity of our in-house team whose capacity to custom-build in exquisite detail to the precise requirements of our growing client base is second to none. To have taken first prize in the Concours d’Elégance at Cannes for our Titian Tender is also an endorsement to be proud of. We look forward to showcasing our superlative superyacht tenders at the Monaco Yacht Show and to welcoming potential customers on board.”
