Whether your own concept is already on the drawing board, or you would like our team to design your vessel, we look forward to working through the design process with you to transform your ideas into reality.
This initial meeting between our designers and you or your representative allows us to understand the basic requirements of your new tender such as garage dimensions and exterior styling.
Our design team – consisting of a stylist, an interior designer, a naval architect, a structural engineer, a mechanical electrical engineer, an outfitting engineer and a Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) consultant – work together to draft an initial proposal. This is then developed and adapted until we have achieved the precise look and feel within the specified requirements, and you are ready to move forward.
When you have accepted the Initial Proposal, our design team formulates the tender’s Basic Specification. At this point, we are able to offer an estimated price. If we have enough information at this stage, we can offer a fixed price contract. If not, we will either conduct a more in-depth design study for which we charge a small fee, or we can establish a contract that will be charged on a cost plus labour and materials basis.
Following your approval to proceed, we provide photographic updates of each stage of the build to document progress. Fixed price contracts are billed in stage payments and any other contracts are billed monthly. If you would prefer to view progress in person, you are more than welcome to visit the yard.
Upon completion, the tender will be thoroughly sea-trialled to ensure that the vessel is Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) compliant and that you are entirely satisfied. The tender will then be ready for delivery. We are happy to offer on board training to help you and your crew familiarise yourselves with your new craft.
Upon request, we can offer service and maintenance packages to ensure that your tender remains in sparkling condition for many years to come.
