Cockwells has released details of a new Duchy sportsboat designed to fulfill a buyer’s enquiry for the perfect wake surfing day-boat.

Cockwells Modern and Classic Boatbuilding has announced a recruitment drive following successful boat shows at Southampton and Monaco as it continued to stand out from the crowd and further ramp up its forward order book by achieving yet more new commissions for its exquisite custom-built craft.

“With a full order book until the end of 2024, we are now looking for more staff to join our growing team, from engineers to boatbuilders, from trainees to management level,” explains founder and managing director, Dave Cockwell. “Despite the economic challenges and political uncertainties of our times, our industry remains buoyant. Cockwells is thriving and there is no better time to join us.”

The company offers a four-day 40-hour week with plenty of opportunity for overtime; flexible working; progression and training; competitive rates of pay; free parking; branded uniforms; a pension scheme and secure employment in one of the most beautiful regions of the UK.
