Cockwells to offer Mediterranean, Flybridge and Scandinavian designs of its award-winning Duchy 35 at MYS19

Cockwells Modern & Classic Boatbuilding is to offer Mediterranean, flybridge and Scandinavian designs of its Duchy 35 – which was crowned winner of the Wheelhouse and Cockpit Cruisers category of Motor Boat & Yachting magazine’s 2018 Motor Boat of the Year Awards – at the Monaco Yacht Show (25 to 28 September 2019).

Duchy Motor Launches are classically-designed, handcrafted, semi-production vessels that are created by Cockwells’ skilled craftsmen whose design flair, expertise and exacting standards are second-to-none. Built in low maintenance composites, these launches can be customised with a seemingly infinite number of optional extras: from teak decks and leather seating to bespoke crockery and glassware in tailor-made stowage.

The Mediterranean model of the Duchy 35 will provide spacious accommodation for up to ten day guests or a luxurious weekend berth for two with a choice of one- or two-cabin layouts. The design will also incorporate every conceivable comfort, customised with optional extras to meet the client’s specific requirements and sun-drenched climate.

Whether you wish to recline on one of the two sunbeds, fore or aft; retreat to the coolness of the air-conditioned saloon; enjoy the shade cast by a Bimini; dive into azure blue waters from the easy-access bathing platform or slide up the swimming ladder to dry off on board, this white-hulled version of the Duchy 35 is just the thing for Mediterranean climes.

Alternatively, you might appreciate the additional space offered by the Flybridge option with its further seating for three that converts into sunbeds, a folding Bimini, the exquisite craftsmanship and convenience of a table that slides out from beneath the helm console, and storage for your tender; or enhance already excellent seakeeping and manoeuvrability with an aft windlass for bow-to mooring, a pulpit with gate and a bow passarelle or ladder for Scandinavian shores.

“The style, seakeeping and flexibility of Cockwells’ Duchy Motor Launches drive the popularity of this well-established brand,” explains Founder & Managing Director, Dave Cockwell. “Offering all the benefits of a bespoke build without the high-end price tag, we can customise your Duchy 35 so that it chimes precisely with you, your climate and your way of life. We look forward to welcoming you to Stand QJ23 at the Monaco Yacht Show to discuss your requirements and explore the possibilities.”

The cost of a standard Duchy 35 without customisation is from £350k plus VAT.
