Cockwells - Monaco Tender
February 1, 2014 Cockwells exhibit at Boot Dusseldorf

The start of 2014 saw us take two of our beautiful launches across to Dusseldorf, Germany, for the world’s largest indoor yacht and water sports show.

More commonly known as Boot Dusseldorf, the show features some 1,661 exhibitors from over 60 countries all crammed into 17 exhibition halls. It is considered a benchmark for the international yacht and water sports industry.

We took our ever popular Duchy 27 and show stopping 9.5m Monaco superyacht tender with us to exhibit in the prestigious hall 6 where you will find the largest and highest quality yachts in the show. For the duration of the nine day event we had a consistent number of guests on-board including some repeat visitors who first saw the Duchy at the previous year’s event.

The quality of the guests on board was much higher this year” explains company director Dave Cockwell. “Everybody loved the two boats and we have every reason to believe our superyacht tender was one of the most photographed boats in the show!”

Guests on board came from across the world from countries which included Finland, Luxemburg, Russia, The Netherlands and even China. Now, over the next few months people living around the Carrack Roads should look out for the Duchy 27 on the water with these VIP guests on board as they take part in sea trials before they decide whether to make their purchase.

“We are confident the show will result in a sale or two” says Dave. “We already have a couple of boats set for export, including a custom version of the Duchy 27 heading to Norway, so we know the British design and high quality craftsmanship is well received abroad”.

If you would like to see the Duchy 27 for yourself, why not join Cockwells at either the Jersey or Sandbanks boats shows at the beginning of May. Alternatively you can make arrangements to see the boats in build at our Mylor Creek Boatyard.
