Cockwells unveil ultra-luxurious Titian Tender and new services for owners.

Copper-infused caulking. Silk panels imbued with original fine art for the interior. The absolute artistry of bespoke carpentry. The exquisite synthesis of speed and style. The Titian Tender is not just another beautiful bespoke boat from Cockwells Modern & Classic Boatbuilding but a modern masterpiece of artisan craftsmanship and technical ingenuity.

Combining durable composites with the resilience of yellow cedar and the sleekness of teak, the award-winning local boatbuilder unveiled its ultra-luxurious Titian Tender at Falmouth’s Port Pendennis Marina on Friday before a gathering of invited guests, including the talented staff who created the vessel and other marine industry specialists.

Fusing the time-honoured traditions of the shipwright with modern materials and technological techniques to create the ultimate in luxury for six guests, this latest custom build is based on a concept by Redman Whitely Dixon.

With an interior designed by Cullum Bespoke, who bring expertise in luxe car design to the mix, this superlative craft has been created by Cockwells’ in-house design team for an internationally-respected, multimedia artist.

Cockwells’ Titian Tender incorporates innovation at every turn and it is finished to superyacht industry standards in every aspect, as Founder and Managing Director, Dave Cockwell, explains: “From the stainless steel fittings that have been specifically cast, the virtual anchor and the hugely manoeuvrable twin-jet drive to the dynamic Positioning and touchscreen EmpirBus control systems, the contemporary chic of the corian and copper galley, and the automated bimini cover, the Titian Tender makes a statement. Cockwells is gaining renown across the globe for its expertise in elevating the traditional skills of the artisan boatbuilder to meet the needs of the most discerning clients. We pride ourselves on resolving complex design challenges and incorporating innovations that meet the client’s precise requirements. It has been a privilege to breathe life into this design. We can only hope that it will bring as much pleasure to the owner as it has to the Cockwells’ team in realising their vision.”

The company also utilised this opportunity to launch enhanced client services and after-care packages from a newly-branded Lock House within the Port Pendennis Marina complex.

“By establishing a base in The Lock House, we can provide an increasing number of high quality services to our growing fleet of local yachts,” adds After Sales Manager, Tristan Rowe. “Other yacht owners can also benefit from the same high standards of service through the concierge packages that we take a pride in delivering.”

Cockwells’ development of new products and services has been made possible as a result of an investment of more than £1.1M –including £491,825 from the European Regional Development Fund – in the purpose-built, low environmental impact HQ that is currently under construction at the company’s Mylor Creek Boatyard.

This will offer modern, fit-for-purpose facilities to stimulate long-term growth and enable the company to exploit potential market opportunities for high quality, advanced engineered craft and compete at the very highest level both in the UK and internationally.
