Cockwells - Hardy 42 - Exterior

Hardy 42

A spirited sea-going motor vessel.

Cockwells’ first customised hybrid diesel/electric Hardy.

Designer: Cockwells in collaboration with Andrew Wolstenholme

Our redesigned Hardy 42 is not only the first to be launched in Cornish waters. It is also the first hybrid diesel/electric motor yacht that we have designed and built specifically for owners who plan to explore the inland waterways of Europe under electric power as well as sail offshore.

Blending elegant looks, enhanced systems engineering and luxurious accommodation, the Hardy 42 is the serious cruiser’s choice and offers a smooth ride at more than 25 knots with her standard twin 440hp Yanmar installation, even in adverse weather conditions.

Wide, safe, walkaround decks with a generously-proportioned aft deck and flybridge provide plenty of outdoor living space for relaxing and taking in the view whilst a digital switching system enables full control and monitoring of all the vessel’s systems via the Raymarine displays in the wheelhouse and flybridge helm positions.

As with all our Hardys, layouts can be customised to suit your precise requirements.
