Cockwells - Hardy 42 - Exterior

Hardy 42

A spirited sea-going motor vessel.

Designer: Cockwells in collaboration with Andrew Wolstenholme

Blending elegant looks, enhanced systems engineering and luxurious accommodation, the Hardy 42, designed by Andrew Wolstenholme, has long been the serious cruiser’s choice and offers a smooth ride at more than 25 knots with her standard twin 440hp Yanmar installation, even in adverse weather conditions.
Wide, safe, walkaround decks with a generously-proportioned aft deck and flybridge provide plenty of outdoor living space for relaxing and taking in the view.
This classic Hardy 42 is still available upon special request, but as with all our Hardys, layouts can be customised to suit your precise requirements.
To discover how we transformed the original design for owners who planned to explore the inland waterways of Europe under electric power but wished to retain the Hardy 42’s renowned seakeeping capabilities for offshore passages, view our Hardy 42 Hybrid here.
You see, absolutely anything is possible with a Hardy.
