superyacht tender
August 1, 2016 Our reputation for excellence continues to grow

Our Mylor Creek HQ has delivered a diverse range of projects this month as our reputation for excellence grows ever stronger.

As well as launching two state-of-the-art 7m superyacht tenders that are bound for Italy to join their mothership, the 70m Perini Navi ketch, Sybaris, we have also completed our tenth Duchy 27 Motor Launch and delivered it to its chic new home at London’s premier riverside address, Imperial Wharf; showcased our 39′ motor launch, Ocean Fugue at the Jersey Boat Show and worked with a leading architect to produce bespoke joinery for a new atrium at five star, luxury hotel, The Berkeley, in Knightsbridge.

We have also undertaken a complete refit of the luxury tender that we built for the Perini Navi 73′ motor yacht, Grace E, in 2013, and have sponsored the Falmouth Classics as well as the Working Boat World Championships hosted by St Mawes Sailing Club.

“Whether we are designing custom-built sports launches or bespoke limousine tenders for superyachts; building on the success of our prestigious semi-production brand of Duchy Motor Launches; utilising the traditional skills of the shipwright in unusual ways; undertaking extensive refits for our local, national and international clients, or sponsoring local sailing events, Cockwells is proud to be doing so from its Mylor Creek base,” says Managing Director, Dave Cockwell. “In this, our twentieth year, we have ambitious plans to invest in the boatyard, enhance our facilities and create more jobs in response to our growing order book and international reputation for excellence, and we could think of nowhere better to do so than in Cornwall.”
