LIIT 37 side profile

Type: 37ft Custom Motor Yacht

Designer: Cockwells and Andrew Wolstenholme

Designed to the same specification as Ocean Fauna with all its handcrafted detail, this semi-displacement, twin-screw wooden motor vessel has extra length and a sleeker profile to provide the additional benefit of a luxuriously-appointed fore cabin with double berth.

Twin 225hp Volvo D4 engines provide a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 24 knots that can be reached in 15 seconds. With approximate fuel consumption of 50 litres per hour at 18 knots, she is also economical to run for a boat of this type.

Motorboat & Yachting magazine documented this build and joined us on her sea trials. You can read their article – Wooden Wonders – in our News and Press section.

Dave has a natural flair for understanding what an owner wants in a boat and, crucially, he asks the right questions to get results. He gets the best from boat designers. It’s his deep understanding of boats that makes him a great guy to work with and it’s his open and persevering personality that makes the whole process tick.”
