Kismet is one of the handful of these wonderful Hardy 50s that emerged from the Hardy sheds in North Walsham before the welcome takeover of the Hardy brand by Mylor’s Cockwells Ltd. Originally specified and built for Mark Funnell, who was the MD of Hardy Marine Ltd. at the time, she boasts the larger MAN R6-800 diesels, enabling a phenomenal top speed of 30 knots if required, or a leisurely 6 knots with a fuel burn in single figures. Her machinery is housed behind a watertight bulkhead door, as expected from a proper commercial sea-going vessel. Additionally, she features practical utility and study areas, along with six berths spread across three cabins.
